With all of the Atlantic 10 teams half way through their schedules and a few games of conference play under their belt, I thought it would be a good time to revisit how many teams could possibly get into the NCAA tournament from the conference after Dave had a look earlier in the season at who ought to be ranked. Currently, the Atlantic 10 owns the sixth best RPI in college basketball ahead of the SEC, American and the Mountain West. The depth of good teams rivals even last years’ more celebrated configuration and all of the A-10’s members have an RPI above 200 with the exception of Fordham and Duquesne. Even those two have the potential to be dangerous. Duquesne led VCU in Richmond at the half before folding in the second yesterday. Fordham gave both Richmond and Dayton a ride.
