Saunders had an up and down March with two big performances and a bunch of marginal ones. On the 21st, he dropped 31 on Maine going 13-17 from the floor and had a double – double on the 2nd. Otherwise, he’s had a forgettable month with his scoring average dropping to 10.7 a game.
Jackson had a solid but not spectacular March for CSKA turning the ball over only six times in six games while playing more minutes in general. His role in Euroleague has expanded logging 23 minutes against Real Madrid and 18 minutes in a win against Bayern Munich.
Still nothing on James.
Kieron Achara returned to Italy with Sidigas Avellino. He’s appeared in only one game where he played 13 minutes, didn’t score but grabbed 5 rebounds.
Clark is becoming a fixture in the Ukraine topping 25 minutes in five of six games scoring in double figures in four of the last six. He went 13 of 19 from the floor in two consecutive fifteen point games and he has continued to put up strong rebounding numbers. Surprisingly, he’s struggled from the FT line.
His season ended in January.
BJ had his first and only single digit performance of the season in March but kept up his all around scoring numbers. He started the month with back to back twenty point performances, but have scored over fifteen once in the last three. Oberwart sit first in the bottom of the group.
Marhold has been killing it since last we checked in with him. He’s had a double – double in four of his last five games and he averaged 15.4 point in March.
But Ron Everhart didn’t believe in red-shirting players.
Mensah didn’t play in March.
